How to play sandbags
Hit the stationary sandbag in place, this is a compulsory course for beginners.
First, a partner should help the sandbag to ensure that the sandbag will not shake during the hitting process;
The second is that the boxer who hits the sandbag stretches out his front hand to measure the distance between himself and the sandbag (just the length of one arm);
Thirdly, the boxer starts punching the sandbag from the straight boxing drill. The three-minute round of drills, the center rests for 30 seconds to one minute, and the first straight boxing drill requires the front and rear hands, including one or two combos, to hit the same position;
After the straight boxing practice is completed, the punching bag can be hit with a combination of straight and swinging (this part of the swing boxing is close to the straight punching interval);
After the straight/swinging punching punching bag is completed, you can perform the mid-near interval punching bag drill combining swing punches and uppercuts. Please note that the interval between the boxer and the punching bag has changed at this time. It is closer than the initial interval, and at the same time After hitting the sandbag, the boxer must quickly protect himself and make corresponding protection.
After mastering the method of hitting the fixed sandbag, you can practice the free hitting of the sandbag.
First, take a step back at the interval of hitting the fixed sandbag, and cooperate with the footwork every time you hit the sandbag, and then withdraw through the footwork after the fight. This repeated practice can enhance the boxer’s ability to move in and out quickly when confronted;
When the sandbag shakes, keep the distance from the sandbag through footwork, the sandbag swings over and the boxer backs up and hits, the sandbag swings over, and the boxer follows up and strikes. When the sandbag swings too far, it can stabilize the sandbag and start again.
Notable is the ability to hit punches while the bag is shaking.
After the above two methods are mastered, you can practice the strength sandbag.
