The so-called strength sandbag drill is a quick and powerful attack of a single punch or a combination of punches against the sandbag for 15 seconds, one group every 15 seconds, the center rests for a while, and then continues the attack drill for 15 seconds, eight groups each time.
There are two approaches to intensity sandbag drills:
The footwork of the front and rear is fast in and out of the punching sandbag;
Coil the sandbag and hit the sandbag clockwise or counterclockwise.
Persistence for a long time can make a boxer have a strong attack power in actual combat or competition.
First of all, you need to warm up to play sandbags, do the preparatory activities first, and then play air strikes or a set of hand targets to keep your body in a state of excitement;
Secondly, when hitting the sandbag, be sure to wrap the gauze and wear sandbag gloves or boxing gloves (personal preference prefers to hit the sandbag with boxing gloves);
Once again, when hitting the sandbag, it should be from light to heavy, from slow to fast, and the sandbag should be hit rhythmically. Do not hit the sandbag with all your strength.
In the end, what I want to say is that when playing sandbags, it is best to combine footwork, protection, dodging and other actions, and all drills based on actual combat can better assist actual combat.
The above is the experience and methods of punching sandbags provided by the author for us. I hope it can help us better practice punching punching bags, and help us improve our boxing level through punching punching bags.
By the way, let me tell you that without a target master or coach, the most content of boxing drills is punching bag drills, which I always find very useful, especially before actual combat.
